August 5, 2014 – Hampton Hotels announced the official opening of the 70-room Hampton Inn & Suites Sandusky/ Milan, located at 11608 US RT 250 in Milan.  80/90 (Ohio Turnpike), local attractions close by include Cedar Point Amusement Park, the birthplace of Thomas Edison and Summit Motorsports Park.

August 4, 2014 – Hampton Hotels, announced the official opening of the 101-room Hampton Inn & Suites El Paso/East, located at 12055 Gateway West Boulevard in El Paso.

August 4, 2014 – Hampton Hotels announced the official opening of the 100-room Hampton Inn and Suites Minneapolis/West Minnetonka located at 10600 Wayzata Boulevard in Minnetonka. The hotel is managed by TPI Hospitality. It is the 10th Hampton property in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market.

This hotel is located just minutes from downtown Minneapolis, Target Center, Guthrie Theater and Target Field. Guests also have shopping options with the nearby Ridgedale Shopping Center and The Shops at West End.

August 4, 2014 – Hampton Hotels announced the official opening of the 106-room Hampton Inn and Suites Clayton/St. Louis-Galleria Area, located at 216 N. Meramec Avenue in Clayton.

According to general manager Mohammed Kashif, “The hotel’s location provides easy access to important corporate headquarters and popular St. Louis area attractions. July 31, 2014 – Hilton Worldwide announced the signing of the 237 room DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns. Located at 121 The Esplanade, DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns will enjoy a prime waterfront location. Formerly the Holiday Inn Cairns, the property will join Hilton Worldwide’s Australasian portfolio of 21 hotels in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Cairns is the gateway to popular tourist destinations such as the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. July 28, 2014 – Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hainan – Qixianling Hot Spring, on the island of Hainan, the southernmost province of the People’s Republic of China.

Located in Qixianling Hot Spring National Rainforest Park, the 254-room hotel is located just 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Lingshui Railway Station and 90 kilometers (56 miles) from Sanya Phoenix International Airport. The hotel is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Hainan Gold Phoenix Hot Spring Resort Co., Ltd.

July 25, 2014 – Hampton Hotels announced the official opening of its newest Oregon property, the 106-room Hampton Inn & Suites Portland/Hillsboro-Evergreen Park, located at 19999 NW Tanasbourne Drive.

The hotel is managed by Western States Lodging. It is the fourth Hampton property in Portland market.

Hampton Inn & Suites Portland/Hillsboro-Evergreen Park is located close to the Oregon Zoo, Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course, Gordon Faber recreation Complex and the Nike World Campus.

July 25, 2014 – MINSK, Belarus – Hilton Worldwide today announced further expansion of its fastest growing full service brand in Eastern Europe with the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk. The brand’s debut property in Belarus is expected to open by mid-2015.

The hotel will include development of 14 floors of a 21 story multi-purpose tower block on Pobediteley Avenue, which is just over one kilometre from the city’s historic old town and the National Exhibition Centre known as Bel Expo II. The development, named Galleria Minsk, will house a 160 outlet retail complex and entertainment center alongside the 194 guestroom hotel. Hilton also plans to develop a destination roof top bar on the building’s top floor which would be located inside the hotel.

The city of Minsk acts as a transportation link from East to West, with train services connecting Belarus with both Russia and Germany. Its international airport handles over five million arrivals each year. DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk will offer over 800sqm of meeting space including a 450sqm ballroom along with a business center.

July 21, 2014 – Hampton Hotels announced the official opening of the 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Regina East Gate, located at 3830 East Gate Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan.

July 3, 2014 – Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Zanzibar – Stone Town, located 64 kilometers (40 miles) off the coast of mainland Tanzania.

Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stone Town, the 58-room DoubleTree by Hilton Zanzibar – Stone Town offers a base from which to experience the island of Zanzibar. The hotel marks the brand’s third hotel to open in the country.

The island of Zanzibar is known as ‘Spice Island’ for its long-standing association with the spice industry. Stone Town, the oldest section of Zanzibar, is made up of ancient stone houses, palaces from the Omani days, carved wooden doors and a treasure trove of bazaars and galleries.

June 30, 2014 – The Concorde Opera Paris hotel has begun a significant $50 million restoration and enhancement program ahead of its anticipated re-launch as Hilton Paris Opera.
The hotel will offer a modern blend of history and glamour, with sleek styling in celebration of the 125 year legacy of the classic Parisian hotel.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city’s Right Bank district and is close to the Champs-Elysées, Opéra Square and Rue de la Paix. Many museums are within walking distance.

The completed hotel will include 268 guest rooms, including 29 suites across five floors. Originally designed by architect Juste Lisch to accommodate visitors flocking to the 1889 Exposition Universelle, the current restoration project, led by London based designer Richmond International, balances historic legacy with modern influences.

The hotel is located close to Saint-Lazare Railway Station and approximately 28 kilometres from Charles de Gaulle Airport; 23 kilometres from Paris Orly Airport; and nine kilometres from the La Defense business district.
