According to the hotel’s web site it is a short tuk tuk ride to Ao Nang from the resort. In Ao Nang you have access to fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and boating.

Tour operators conduct speedboat tours to the many islands in the area; Hong Island, Koh Phi Phi, Tup Island, Poda, Chicken Island, Daeng Island, Ladong Island, Rai Island, Bamboo Island and Pakbia Island. There are options to combine snorkeling and/or sightseeing activities along with your boat trip.

Into Thai food? Cooking lessons are available through through many cooking schools in Ao Nang including, Krabi Cookery School, Ao Nang Thai Cookery School and Smart Cook Thailand.

I am already planning my itinerary just in case I am the lucky winner! Long days reading on the beach interspersed with boat rides to explore the other islands will fill most of my days.

My evenings will be spent enjoying a tasty sampling of authentic Thai dishes. There are four restaurant choices at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi as well as street food to explore in Ao Nang. At least one day will be spent learning to cook my favorite Thai dishes so that I can recreate at least part of my Thai experience at home.

I think I have talked myself into a trip to Thailand whether or not I win the sweepstakes!

The Thailand Getaway Giveaway entry period closes at 11:59 PM EST on March 16, 2015. You must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and age 21 to enter. The giveaway is sponsored by Wow Media Products, Inc.
