SPG Keyless

Starwood hotels plans to introduce upgraded locks at select hotels. The new locks will allow you to by-pass the front desk process altogether and check in via your iOS or Android smartphone and use the same phone as a bluetooth key to your room.

Trials are starting soon in Manhattan and Silicon Valley at Aloft branded hotels. You can register your SPG membership to be notified of updates here.
