Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto to open restaurant in Disney Springs

Chef Masaharu Morimoto has announced plans to open Morimoto Asia in the renovated Disney Springs at Disney World.

“I’m very excited to bring this new concept to Disney, something I’ve always dreamed of,” said Chef Morimoto. “It’s a wonderful chance to share some of my favorite foods from across the Asian continent.”

The new Morimoto Asia is planned to be 36 feet tall, with large open terraces, waterside seating and will include a cocktail lounge. Currently planned to open in the summer of 2015. I’ve had the pleasure of eating at Morimoto Waikiki and if you think you are a fan from watching him on TV. You will not be disappointed.
