Her articles focus on educational vacations and detailed itineraries based on readers’ special interests, with recommendations for good food, lodging and sightseeing along the way. For a decade she explored Native American culture and art, and is the author of “Native Peoples of the Northwest” and “Native Peoples of Alaska: A Traveler’s Guide to Land, Art and Culture” (Sasquatch Books).
